James Isch

James (Jim) Isch has spent over 37 years in various capacities in higher education and intercollegiate athletics, before retiring from the NCAA. He is currently consulting in sports related projects with a wide range of technology, youth, and sports-related organizations. Examples of his clients are: University of Notre Dame, Knight Commission on Intercollegiate Athletics, Indiana Sports Corporation, Indiana University, Next College Student Athlete, Reigning Champs Experiences, International Cricket Council and NFL Flag Football.

During his 16 years at the NCAA, Isch served as intern president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer. Prior to the NCAA, he was CFO and VP for Administration at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and Montana State University.

Jim received his bachelor and doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees from Kansas State University and his master’s in business administration from Boston University.
